Energy / Deregulated markets
Commercial energy, compared across licensed suppliers
In deregulated markets, suppliers all buy the same commodity off the same market — what differs is the number each returns for your meter, on the day you ask, for the term you want. Send a recent bill and we run your meter against all of them at once.
What you get
What the work actually includes
Every supplier, one request
Constellation, NRG, Engie, Gexa, and the rest of the licensed field — quoted from your actual usage, not a generic profile.
Every term, side by side
12, 24, 36, 60 months — the term decision often matters more than the supplier decision, and we show both.
The contract, read properly
Bandwidth clauses, swing tolerances, pass-through charges — the parts of an energy contract that surprise people, read before signing.
Renewal timed, not missed
Miss a renewal window and you land on holdover rates. We track the end date and start the next comparison early.
Recent results
What a bill turned into
Two comparisons from August 2026, identities withheld. Both started the same way: one recent bill.
RV park — Texas
~1,000,000 kWh / year
8.633¢ 5.525¢ per kWh
≈ $2,590 a month
Pedestal power at every site adds up to a serious meter. The comparison found a fixed all-in rate 36% below what the park was paying — roughly $31,000 over a 12-month term.
Energy for RV parksTrampoline park — North Texas
~390,000 kWh / year
7.129¢ 5.434¢ per kWh
≈ $550 a month
Conditioning a warehouse-sized open volume of air makes electricity a top operating cost. Across two meters, the comparison found about $6,600 a year against the rate on the bill.
Energy for family entertainmentReal clients, real comparisons; names withheld. Savings compare the rate on the client’s bill with the best all-in supplier rate quoted that day — rates a client could actually sign, but only on that day, for that meter. Your result depends on your usage, zone, and the market on the day we price it.

FAQ
Common questions
Why aren’t current rates listed on this page?
Because a published rate would be stale within a day. Commercial energy is priced per meter from usage, load profile, zone, and start date. The results above are history — what real comparisons found on their pricing day — not offers. The only number that matters for you is the one your bill produces.
What do you need from me?
A recent bill. It carries the meter number, usage history, and current supplier — everything needed to run a real comparison. Use the quote form, or just email a photo of the bill to energy@rts.expert.
My contract isn’t up yet — should I wait?
No. Supply contracts can be priced months ahead with a future start date — both results above were priced in August for December starts. Locking the next term early means your renewal date arrives with a signed rate instead of a holdover surprise.
Does this apply to my state?
Only deregulated markets allow supplier choice — Texas most prominently, plus a number of northeastern and midwestern states. If your state is regulated, there’s nothing to compare and we’ll say so.
What does the comparison cost?
Nothing. The comparison is free, and the rate you’re quoted is the rate you pay.
Ready when you are
Sourcing is remote work — any US business address qualifies. The comparison costs you nothing.
